I have written a lot about fine dining in Las Vegas, but that is mostly an option for dinner. I am a big fan of buffets for brunch, and the Caesars Bacchanal buffet may be the best. However, sometimes you just don’t want a buffet. For the best brunch in Las Vegas, you should definitely give HEXX a try. Located in front of the Paris, is has a good center Strip location with available patio seating which is great for people watching.
I’m not going to lie. When we woke up that morning in Las Vegas, a cocktail sounded like a great idea. Fortunately, the good people at HEXX were there to help. Bloody Marys were pricey at $15, but they were also enormous. The bar staff also took great care to craft something excellent. I had the Farmer’s Market Bloody Mary. The beef jerky was a little weird, but the overall effect was great. If I was making more reasonable choices, I would have stopped there and called it a day.
I did not, of course, stop there and call it a day. This is brunch in Las Vegas, and Hexx has excellent choices.
We were a party of four, so we got to try several different things as a table. I had the corned beef hash, and my wife had the breakfast croissant. The corned beef hash was a fairly small portion, but that was OK: See the comments above about the Farmer’s Market Bloody Mary which could have been a meal all by itself. The corned beef had obviously been cut by hand rather than being dumped out of some awful can somewhere. The croissant, on the other hand, was enormous. Both were excellent choices.
Hexx was a great option for brunch in Las Vegas. The center strip location is ideal, and I would definitely wait for a table outside. The people-watching was a highlight of the experience. Pace yourself so that you don’t order too much food, and remember that the cocktails can very easily be a meal. I look forward to going back.
