I wrote last year about my stay in a Bellagio two bedroom penthouse suite. That was one of my earlier posts on Dine Drink Travel, and it was designed as a comprehensive review of my stay. We had the opportunity to stay in that suite again at the end of last month. This time, we also had a premier fountain view. In this post, I want to give you more information about the room rather than the hotel overall. Continue reading “Bellagio Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite (Updated)”

Bellagio Chairman’s Lounge access changes

I wrote before about the two bedroom penthouse suite at the Bellagio. We are making another trip and staying in this room next week. One of the great benefits of staying in this room is access to the Bellagio Chairman’s Lounge. That provides private check in, excellent guest service, and a variety of snacks throughout the day. It is also a great place to pick up a cup of coffee. I will review the lounge separately after our trip next week, but I wanted to let you know that access rules appear to have changed. Bellagio Chairman’s Lounge access was previously available only to those in a penthouse suite and above. It is no longer included with anything but a few suites, but there is good news. Le Cirque in the Bellagio Las Vegas

Le Cirque in the Bellagio Las Vegas

I am an extraordinarily lucky man. I have lived in the United States, Mexico, and Nigeria, and in addition to those places have eaten meals in Indonesia, Japan, Canada, multiple spots in the Caribbean, Nicaragua, England, Holland, and probably some places I am forgetting. I am a proud consumer of food from street vendors, I grew up with home cooking in Texas, and I can comport myself reasonably well in very nice restaurants. I say all of this to express the judgment I use in making this claim- my favorite restaurant in the world is Le Cirque in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have stayed there in a Penthouse suite and in other accommodations, although that is generally because it is convenient to this restaurant. My favorite place to eat remains my grandmother’s kitchen, but if I am going to pay for a meal then this is the place to do it. Continue reading “Le Cirque in the Bellagio Las Vegas”

Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite at Bellagio Las Vegas

Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite at Bellagio Las Vegas

You know what’s weird? Going to Las Vegas, losing money at the blackjack tables, and still really enjoying your experience at the hotel. That is what has happened to me three times now at the Bellagio Las Vegas. It helps, of course, if you have a Penthouse Suite. Continue reading “Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite at Bellagio Las Vegas”
