Carnival Cruise Lines Brand Ambassador John Heald announced today that Carnival is changing soft drink providers. While Carnival currently uses Coke products, they have signed a new contract with Pepsi. The new contract will begin in January 2020, although implementation will vary by ship. There is no planned change in the price of drink packages. Carnival offers multiple sailings each week from Galveston.

Heald stated that the transition would allow Carnival to offer a wider range of non-alcoholic beverages. In addition to Pepsi, guests will be able to order sports drinks, cold Starbucks beverages, and Bubly and Naked brand drinks. For those of us who prefer Coca Cola products, there is still an option. Carnival will continue to allow guests to bring 12 sealed cans of soft drinks in their carry on luggage.
