Every Pool at Mandalay Beach

Mandalay Beach is the enormous Mandalay Bay pool complex in Las Vegas. Most people think of the huge wave pool, the lazy river, and the real sand. That is all very much part of it. However, there are actually three separate pools inside the complex. Let us tell you a little about the pools attached to the Mandalay Bay, the Delano, and the Four Seasons. We will also talk about which guests are entitled to enter which pools.

The Mandalay Bay Pool is the Star of Mandalay Beach

Anyone who is a guest at the Mandalay Bay, Delano, or Four Seasons has access to the Mandalay Bay pool. We did a video walkthrough in July 2023, and the space is beautiful. You enter through a space with a pool shop, cabana rental station, and a large restaurant. As you enter the main pool complex, there is beautiful sand everywhere. This is actually one of the prime features of Mandalay Beach– they worked hard to make it feel like an actual beach. As much like an actual beach as you can find on the Las Vegas Strip, anyway.

There are plenty of lounge chairs out, but folks, it gets hotter than grandma’s frying pan in Vegas in the Summer. I don’t care to just sit out and let the sun burn me to a crisp. There are a number of cabanas available for rent. Unfortunately, those start at several hundred dollars depending on location, day of the week, and time of year. The wave pool, however, is a ton of fun– even if you are, theoretically speaking, a middle aged fat man. There is also a lazy river. That is a ton of fun.

The only real drawback to the main Mandalay Bay pool complex is that it gets crowded. There are also going to be a ton of kids there, and that can be good or bad depending on your preferences. As the video shows, however, there is a specific family-friendly area you can take your kids to. Kids are allowed everywhere but the Moorea Beach Club.

Delano Beach Club Pool

The picture at the top of this post is from the Delano pool. The Delano pool is, ironically, not located at the Delano hotel. Rather, it is part of the main Mandalay Bay pool complex. That’s not a huge deal, because those hotels are connected and it adds 2 minutes to your commute by foot. I took a video of it during my July 2023 trip. Don’t be afraid to click the video link. That is to our Dine Drink Vegas YouTube channel. We work hard there to bring you short and focused videos which give you the information you need to plan your next trip to Vegas.

The Delano Beach Club is immediately to your right as you enter the main Mandalay Bay pool. My Delano key got me into the Mandalay Beach complex, but nobody was checking to see that you were actually a guest at the Delano before going into their “beach club” space. This is a much smaller pool with its own cabanas. It is actually a beautiful space, and it is a great option if you want access to the full Mandalay Bay complex while also having a quiet oasis.

Four Seasons Las Vegas Pool

The most exclusive part of the Mandalay Beach complex is the Four Seasons pool. Only Four Seasons guests can enter, and the only real entrance to the pool is deep inside the Four Seasons hotel. I spent a night at this beautiful hotel during my July 2023 trip. The Four Seasons Las Vegas pool is beautiful, and I took video for Dine Drink Vegas during my July 2023 trip.

The Four Seasons has a beautiful pool. They also have their own cabanas and a much higher ratio of servers to guests than are available elsewhere in the Mandalay Beach complex. Four Seasons guests still have access to the higher energy vibe of the main Mandalay Bay pool complex when that is what they want.
