One of the perks of booking a Grand Suite or higher most Royal Caribbean ships is that you have access to a private lounge. The lounge has a concierge to help you avoid the line at the customer service desk, and it is a quiet space to sit with drinks and snacks provided for part of the day. The Liberty of the Seas used to provide this in a consolidated space on Deck 10. However, that old concierge lounge has been replaced by the Suite Lounge and the Diamond Lounge on Deck 14. The Liberty of the Seas Suite Lounge is much nicer than the old space.
The Suite Lounge is located inside the Olive or Twist bar on deck 14, and you slide your room key for admission at any time other than debarkation morning. The concierge is there for several hours in the morning and several more hours in the late afternoon and early evening, and he was quite helpful in making reservations or answering questions about our account. More than anything, however, the Suite Lounge is simply a comfortable place to sit. There are both private indoor and outdoor areas, and these are located aft on the port side of the ship.
The Suite Lounge also sets out a very nice continental breakfast spread every morning, and a tea and coffee maker is always available. Complimentary bar service is available in the evening, and the evening hours also feature very nice pre-dinner appetizers. This was one of my favorite spaces on the ship, and it is a key reason why I book Grand Suites rather than the considerably cheaper Junior Suites.
