We sailed Royal Caribbean out of Galveston in 2017, and the Liberty of the Seas suite perks were amazing. We sail again on Sunday, and we can’t wait. As a bonus, this time we are in the Villa Suite. This room used to be known as the Presidential Family Suite. It comes with a couple of extra perks. The concierge emailed us last night to explain everything. Royal Caribbean suite benefits are one of the reasons I keep sailing with them.
Because we are in the Villa Suite, the concierge will meet us on the pier. That will save significant time, and it is only available for this room and the Royal Suite. All of the other perks, however, are available to anyone in a Grand Suite or higher.

The concierge is amazing
Perhaps the largest perk is having someone to help handle onboard issues. For example, there are 10 people in our suite. There are 17 in our party– 7 folks are staying in 3 other cabins. I emailed the concierge the day before. Shortly after receiving this welcome email, he responded that he would be delighted to ask the MDR manager to seat us nearby. I also had problems scheduling an embarkation lunch at Chops, and he re-scheduled it so we could all dine at the same time. These are excellent examples of problems the concierge can help you solve.
If you are in a regular suite, embarkation still features much shorter lines and priority boarding. The suite lounge is an excellent space. I took a video of it in 2017 and put it at the top of this post. I am excited about the priority tender tickets in Grand Cayman. The Liberty of the Seas suite perks will help make this a special occasion. We booked this cruise in November 2017, and we can’t wait to board!
Post cruise update
The Royal Caribbean suite benefits were everything I remembered, and we are already booked for 2020. On that cruise, we will be in an owner’s suite. You might enjoy reading about our Villa Suite. The suite perks there were even better!
Do you happen to have a copy of the letter you received from the concierge prior to sailing? I’m in a 2 bedroom grand suite in November, and would like to see what to expect. Thanks.
There is a link to the email in this post, but that is all I have from before sailing. Later on, I will post the materials the concierge left in our room.
