I love to book cruises far in advance. That lets me reserve specialty cabins, and often the rates are lower. I also love to spend many months looking forward to each cruise. We reported earlier that the Royal Caribbean Summer 2021 schedule would be coming out November 4. It is still coming soon, but there is a slight delay.
Almost all cruises from Galveston go to the Caribbean. Carnival has announced some Panama Canal cruises, and sometimes something else special will come up. As a general rule, however, Galveston cruises are going on one of a few Caribbean routes.
Originally scheduled for the week of November 4, week long Caribbean cruises will now be announced the week of November 18. This isn’t a huge deal if you want a regular cabin. However, it matters if you want a specialty cabin like the Villa Suite. It also matters if you want a very specific location. Rates change, of course, but I typically get the best rates booking far in advance.
Shorter cruises will now be announced the week of December 16. Royal Caribbean is scheduled to move the Adventure of the Seas to Galveston in November 2020, and it may stay for an additional season. Follow Galveston Cruise Reviews for all of the news on the Royal Caribbean Summer 2021 schedule from Galveston. We will share the news as soon as we have it.
Hopefully they announce more details on the new royal port in Galveston!
Agreed. The last couple of ships have moved in each November, so I expect them to begin using the new pier November 2021.
