The Carnival Dream frequently sails short itineraries out of Galveston. One of the principle passenger decks is Deck 3, which contains the Main Dining Room (MDR), theatre, Lobby Bar, guest services, and a few other spaces. We took a short video to show you what one of the main public spaces on the ship looks like.
The lobby bar is a great place to get a drink. Do know that it is loud. That means it is a great spot for people watching, but not the best choice for a quiet conversation. The theatre is an attractive space, although you will not want to sit at the back on Deck 3. Sit further forward, or consider sitting in the balcony seating on Deck 4. The back seats on Deck 3 are partially obstructed by the balcony. The MDR was great, although make sure you are entering the correct dining room. I sometimes found the entrances confusing.
Look for more from us over the next few weeks about the Carnival Dream. It was a beautiful ship, and we try to break our reviews into small parts. That makes it easier to find what you are looking for without having to go through a long video. Happy sailing!
