In December, I wrote about the American Airlines breakfast options from Las Vegas to Dallas. One thing that AA does exceptionally well is to give first class flyers choices. On this flight, I could have selected oatmeal, an omelette, or any special meal they had. I wanted a regular breakfast, so I went with the omelette. It was good, but I probably should have selected one of the special meals.Continue reading “American Airlines breakfast in domestic first class”
I get to go to Las Vegas next month, and I am flying American to get back home. Doing what I always do, I logged in to select my meals. AA offers a real advantage to those who buy first class tickets, because we can select what we want in advance. That makes sure they don’t run out of your preferred option. It is a morning flight, and I wanted to let everyone know what American Airlines breakfast is. Continue reading “American Airlines breakfast LAS-DFW”
One of my worries when we went on our Royal Caribbean cruise this Summer was whether there would be enough choices for breakfast. The buffet is fine, although I am not a huge fan. There is a private restaurant for suite guests, but then I couldn’t dine with my buddies who were staying in other cabins. Room service was an option, but I generally wake up before the rest of my family. Happily, the main dining room breakfast presented an excellent alternative at no additional cost. The menu is above. Ignore where it says “Exclusive to Suite Guests.” That means we could order these things through room service, but this is exactly the same menu as is open to everyone in the main dining room. It is open seating with waiter service, and it is a much calmer pace than eating in the buffet. Continue reading “Main Dining Room Breakfast on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas”
Earlier this year I wrote about the new breakfast menu being served at Rosa’s Cafe (a chain in Texas, principally in Western Texas), and yesterday I wrote that they appears to be offering dine-in breakfast service. I got the chance to try the new breakfast menu today, and I think I found a new favorite breakfast spot. It isn’t the same as my favorite greasy spoon breakfasts (regardless of cuisine), but it is a great choice for a leisurely weekend breakfast with the family. I wrote earlier that Rosa’s Cafe (a Texas institution, particularly in the West of the state) had started a new breakfast menu. At that time, I noted that breakfast was only available via the drive-through. My family and I ate dinner tonight at the location on 191 and Faudree in Odessa, and they had several posters up about breakfast. None of those said anything about the drive through, so I asked. Eventually, somebody found a manager who understood that I was not trying to order breakfast tacos at 8 p.m. and she confirmed that the Rosa’s Cafe breakfast menu is now available for dine-in. There seemed to be some confusion on my question, and I cannot personally confirm it. However, a lot of site to this traffic is generated from that previous post. I wanted to let everybody know, and I will confirm one way or the other as soon as I can.
UPDATE- Please see my post from September 22 for the new breakfast menu and details on their dine-in breakfast.
