Encore Las Vegas Room Review

I have stayed in some gorgeous rooms in Las Vegas before, but the Encore Las Vegas may be at the top of the list. On the Dine Drink Vegas YouTube channel, you can see a gorgeous standard guest room at the Bellagio, the Aria Sky Suites two bedroom suite, and many more. However, the Encore Resort King Room is gorgeous. Attached to the Wynn, the Encore very much offers the amenities of a luxury property.

Let’s start by talking about the strengths of the resort. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by someone who seemed genuinely interested in helping me. I arrived well before check-in time. Since a room was ready, the front desk clerk was happy to let me have it. PRO TIP: If you arrive early, talk to a person at the desk. The kiosk would have charged me an early check in fee.

Service wasn’t the only strength. This was the cheapest room, and the Encore Las Vegas is simply stunning. You do have to make some choices. For example, my room with an excellent view came with some significant noise from the night club. The Encore also offers smoking rooms, so you need to know your own preferences there. However, I had a smoking room complete with an ashtray and couldn’t smell anything. This hotel is attached to the Wynn, which has one of my two favorite buffets in town. Watch the video room review for more details, but this hotel is lovely.

So What are the Challenges with the Encore Las Vegas?

I can really only think of two problems with this hotel. One is price. Price matters both in terms of the room and in terms of the other things you will do in the hotel. My room was $500 plus taxes and fees on this weekend, and that is about as cheap as it normally gets. It is easy for a single person to spend $100 at the Wynn buffet, and many hotel venues allow the opportunity to spend even more. This hotel may well be worth it, but know what you are getting in to.

That actually ties closely to the second flaw for this hotel. The Encore Las Vegas is located at the North end of the Strip. That means is may be a considerable hike to the other places you want to go. Hotels with a more central location often charge similar prices, so you should check out the options for the dates you want to travel. I absolutely think Encore is worth it, and I am looking forward to my next trip. I just have to way it against similar properties further South, particularly places like the Venetian which also have an all-suites configuration.
