This feels like a strange sentence to write, but here goes. I have good news for Galveston cruise fans. That was a lot of fun to write, so I think I will do it again. After months of no cruises at all, I have good news for Galveston cruise fans. I talked about it a little more on the YouTube channel, but it looks like Royal Caribbean still plans to build the new Galveston Terminal 3. As we discussed last year, that at least opens up the possibility of an Oasis Class ship in Galveston.

Welcome to the new news format for Galveston Cruise Reviews! Our primary focus remains on providing reviews of the ships sailing from Galveston as well as things to do and places to stay on the island. However, we also want to keep you up to date on all of the latest news. The easiest way to do that is with our new monthly newsletter. We will review all of the news from the previous month and tell you what is coming up. The last month has been particularly busy, and it was highlighted by a huge announcement from Royal Caribbean. An Oasis class ship is coming to Galveston in 2021, and a new pier will be built to support it. The Allure of the Seas will sail regular 7 night itineraries to Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Galveston Oasis Class itineraries

Allure of the Seas Galveston itineraries will feature a regular rotation of Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.

Royal Caribbean announced last week that the Allure of the Seas, an Oasis Class ship, will sail from Galveston. Galveston Cruise Reviews has closely monitored the release of the actual schedules. Now, things are official. The first Galveston Oasis Class sailing will be November 4, 2021. Allure of the Seas will sail a 4 night cruise to Cozumel. Starting November 10, Allure of the Seas Galveston itineraries will feature regular runs to Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. We also expect an additional ship to sail from Galveston.

What to expect from Royal Caribbean 2021-2022

The Allure of the Seas is pictured here with sister ships from the Oasis Class. Royal Caribbean has not made any announcements. However, it may be a key part of Royal Caribbean 2021-2022 plans from Galveston.

Royal Caribbean has sailed at least two ships from Texas for several years now. Currently, only the Liberty of the Seas is scheduled to sail from Texas in Summer 2021. Speculation has been rife that Royal will move an Oasis Class ship to Galveston. They have also delayed the announcement of their entire Caribbean schedule. So what do we know about the Royal Caribbean 2021-2022 plan from Galveston?
