My apologies, but I do not remember which night they served this menu on our June 25 cruise on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. I have already written about the first three nights, and I know this wasn’t the menu from the second formal night (Night 6). That means this was served on either night 4, 5, or 7. In any event, I wanted to show you what this menu consists of and offer a couple of thoughts about it.
This menu was not particularly good. Most nights, I really enjoyed my meal. On this evening, however, nothing really stood out to me. It wasn’t bad, but this was one of the evenings I might have been better served by making a reservation in one of the specialty restaurants. I had the lamb shank, and it was… fine. I don’t recall which appetizer I had, but my best guess is that it was the always solid shrimp cocktail which is available every night.

The key lime pie, much like the lamb shank, was fine. It was probably too sweet, and it did not have a particularly close acquaintance with actual key limes. Nothing on this menu was bad, and it was a perfectly lovely evening. On the other hand, nothing particularly stood out. We have already booked a cruise for 2019, and if this menu is still there at that point this will be an opportunity for me to try a specialty restaurant.
